Hat not Hate 2021 – Peace and Love Beanie

October is National Bully Prevention month. #hatnothate (https://hatnothate.org/) is an amazing organization that rallies fiber artists around the country to knit and crochet blue hats to be distributed and worn by kids during the month of October. What an amazing sight of blue to combat bullies!

For #hatnothate 2021, we have designed 16 unique beanies for the cause. Here is our Peace and Love beanie – a unique patterns in blue!

This beanie is made with Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Macaw

This beanie is made with rows of V stitches (V for peace) alternating with rows of criss cross stitches (X for love) in the body of the hat.

This beanie has a final height of 8.5-9 inches and a flat circumference of 18, giving it more of a slouch effect than a form fitting beanie.
