
We live in Reno, Nevada and we see these cute little brown bunnies with cream colored bushy tails all around us. We call them the Reno Brown Bunnies!

2dctog – yarn over (YO) and insert hook into first st and pull yarn through one loop, YO and pull yarn through two loops, YO and insert hook into the next st and pull yarn through one loop, YO and pull through two loops, YO and pull through remaining three loops on the hook.

Using size 4 yarn (worsted or medium weight yarn) with a J-10 (6.0 mm) needle in LIGHT BROWN (or color of your choice)
BEANIE (6.5” high and 15” flat diameter)
Ch 4 and loop to make a magic ring.

Row 4 – ch 2 (this counts as your first dc of this row), dc in same st as joining, dc in the next 3 st, then repeat {2 dc in the next st, dc in the next 4 st, 2 dc in the next st dc in the next 3 st} to the end. Join with sl st to first dc (44 dc)

EARS (Make 2)
Using LIGHT BROWN yarn, ch 4 and loop to make a magic ring
Row 1 – ch 2 (this counts as your first dc of this round) and then 5 dc into the ring. Join with sl st to the first dc. (6 dc)
Row 2 – ch 2 (this counts as your first dc of this round), dc in same st as joining, dc in the next 2 st, 2 dc in the next st, dc in the next 2 st. Join with sl st to the first dc. (8 dc)
Row 3 – ch 2 (this counts as your first dc of this round), dc in the same st as joining, dc in the next 3 st, CHANGE TO OFF WHITE YARN, 2 dc in the next st, CHANGE TO LIGHT BROWN YARN, dc in the next 3 st. Join with sl st to the first dc. (10 dc)

Putting it together:
- Sew Ears in between Rows 2-4 on each side, with multicolored side facing frontwards
- Sew Tail in between Rows 8-9 on the back of the beanie, equidistant between each ear.
