Sometimes, a Size 6 (super bulky) yarn can feel like a Size 5 (bulky) yarn or vice versa. Here is a variation of our pattern for a Thick and Toasty Lacey Granny Beanie made with either a Size 5 (bulky) yarn or a slender Size 6 (super bulky) yarn.

This beanie is made with stitches of a granny square in a lacey pattern in the body of the hat.
Stitches used:
ch- chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
granny stitch – 3 double crochet in the same space
sk st – skip stitch
